Born on Monday, the 13th of August, in the Florence Nightingale Hospital in the heart of Johannesburg, South Africa, "Miss Tré" Tracy Christine Williams, a recently qualified TEFL teacher with an educational background and years of experience in Property Sales and Mortgage Brokering, prefers setting the roof on fire from behind a set of turntables in front of a pulsating crowd of music lovers! For as long as she can remember, Dj Miss Tré(pronounced "Trey") has always been spinning records (Pre-cd days!), honored with her Father's musical ear, she started playing after she had the privilege of attending the world Music Conference in Miami in March of 2004, where she bought her first couple of records. Prior to leaving South Africa, she jointly presented and hosted 2 successful events at The Horror Café (“The T’zer”) and @115 (“Summer Dreams”) in the heart of Johannesburg in 2003. When she returned to South Africa she enrolled herself at the Wheelz of Steel Dj School in Rosebank, Johannesburg in April of 2004. Three Months later, she took her second trip to Mauritius and got her first live debut at El Diablo in Grand Baaie, playing over two consecutive weekends. After the tragic death of her Fiancé in 2007, she decided to take her music career a lot more serious and played her first TV Debut on the live interactive music show, Go Chat on DSTV in June 2008 and was ranked in the top 30 at the "South Africa's Next Top Dj" competition in November 2008. In February 2009 she transferred to Mauritius as a Senior Executive for an Offshore Trust & Company Services Provider and received the opportunity to play at various clubs around the island and featured on Radio 1, the island's number one radio station, as well as in the local newspaper La Sentinelle within her first 3 months of living there. When she returned to South Africa, Miss Tré joined The Disciples Of Deep, famous for their exclusive rooftop parties in the Johannesburg CBD and is a regular player at the KEEP IT REAL parties. Miss Tré is currently the public relations manager at the prestigious Lighthouse nightclub in Johannesburg South Africa ;where she ;promotes various local and international dj's and events and she hopes to take her musical studies and career further by taking up music production in the not too distant future.
